Physician Testimonials
My experience working with Fred has been effortless from the get-go. He was honest, kind, and upfront. He is very personable, responsive and his perspective based on his many years of experience is priceless. He offered valuable suggestions and assistance in many different ways during my search for employment. Fred has been great to work with and I look forward to working with you in the future.
I worked with several recruiters during my final year of Fellowship and was fortunate to have met Fred Newmark. Taking the “leap” as a trainee to attending to starting the job search process was quite a daunting task. From our first conversation, Fred took the time and patience to listen, get to know me & understand my goals and clinical aspirations. There is nothing transactional about him. His genuine interest and candor made me feel like I was his only client and someone I could always trust. I always knew he had my best interest at heart regardless of the career decisions before me.
Fred is well seasoned in his trade and asks the right and sometimes difficult questions which helped sharpen my job search skills. He was also a steady and reassuring influence as I juggled training with the entire job search process. Fred is an invaluable resource for interview preparation, understanding contract and compensation models, helping with student loan resources, and important insight along the way.
I am extremely grateful that our paths have crossed and highly recommend his services.
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
During my job search as a neurologist, I came across a lot of recruiters. Luckily, Fred Newmark was one of them. He is great at what he does, and in just a few months of interaction, he became a friend.
A few things about Fred are worth mentioning. First, he is always available for you. He enjoys a good conversation and has a unique sense of humor. He never pushes you to accept a job that might not be suitable for you, unlike many other recruiters.
Last but not least, he has an amazing grasp of the hiring process and guides you on how to approach programs with your concerns. If you are searching for a job as a physician and wanted to reach out to recruiters, I would highly recommend Fred.
Sincerely,

As I recently discovered, transitioning from training to finding my first practice is a more challenging than I realized. I am a general surgeon and was late to begin my search due to Covid19. Once finally starting I found myself engaging with multiple recruiters. Fred Newmark was by far the best fit for me. He is a special person with very-unique talents that became apparent from our first interaction.
When speaking with other recruiters it felt transactional. Few were able to provide more than cursory details and not much valuable insight. Fred engages in a completely different way. He starts in reverse. Our first conversation didn’t begin with “tell me about the type of job you’re looking for and where do you want to be.” He’s much more personable and I could intuitively feel the difference. He wanted to know me as a person first and took the time to ask questions, listen, understand my history, life experiences and objectives. He said he would do his best to support me throughout the process regardless of my decision. I absolutely knew he was telling me the truth and he consistently proved it every step of the way.
Fred has an innate gift of asking questions that help bring clarity. He rarely told me what to do but offers perspective and insights that helped me find my own answers to make the best decisions for myself. I always knew he had my best interest at heart.
As I write this, I am waiting on the final contract for a position I feel is a great fit in the right community to raise our family. This was an opportunity that Fred has spent a significant amount of time to help make a reality. He’s been available and provided guidance every single step of the way. As a surgeon, I can offer to you only my sincerest and full recommendation of Fred Newmark.
Sincerely,
Michael Simmons, MD
